“They Discontinued My Tire! I've been using Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s forever. For some reason Cooper, in it's infinite wisdom, has discontinued the 265 75r 16 size so I need a replacment. I'm in Southern California and do quite a bit of wildlife habitat restoration work in dry desert conditions. This involves lots and lots of highway miles as well as dirt roads from good to, on what planet is this a road. Occasionally we are even driving up dry washes, trying to avoid all the nasty sidewall eating rocks and spiny bushes. The tread on the discoverer is pretty modest and quite on the highway but when aired downed, runs well in sandy conditions. They even work pretty well in rocky conditions. The other thing is they wear really well. Ive got 60k+ miles on my current set and can squeeze another 10k out of them if I have to. So to the point, Im looking for suggestions for a replacment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.”

“New tires: Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S Needed a 3PMSF tire and these Coopers edged out the Wildpeak AT3Ws based on wear rating and highway performance. “New tire advice from people who know about cooper Ive had these discoverer at3 4s since 2022. I need to replace them and ive heard they stopped making them. Before this it had discoverer RTX and discoverer LSX tires. The ones people are saying kinda took over are the road and trail AT but they look way more offroad styled then the at3s did. I dont drive offroad but i dont want strictly highway tires. I do drive on the highway though and haul a bit does cooper have anything else or is the road and trail AT a good replacement? Read more”

“Suggestions for replacing AT tires on SUV I have an expedition, and used to need AT tires because of where I used to live and work, but now find I don't need them. I was running some Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. Absolutely fantastic tires, but now I want to get some all weather since its mostly suburban and highway driving. We get a lot of snow so that's important to me as well. Any suggestions or real world advice? Thanks!”

“Tire Recs for F150 - mostly highway and some muddy field edges - Cooper or Falken? I mostly put highway miles on my 2011 F150 but Im a bow hunter so October and November I spend a decent amount of time driving on field edges to get to hinting spots. When its wet, these field edges get pretty sloppy. I have Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S currently. While Ive never gotten stuck, there's been a few sweaty moments where it felt close. These have been great on road tires with low road noise, great fuel efficiency, and impressive handling in wet, dry, and snow. I want to maintain on road performance as thats 90% of my use, but curious if there are any thoughts on the new Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail AT, vs Falken Rubitrek, or Falken Wildpeak AT3 or AT4.
