Michelin CrossClimate 3 review

“First 5 thousand km on Cross Climate 3s Got a set of Michelin Cross Climate 3s put on a couple of months ago. I’ve learned these aren’t available in the North American market; I’m located in Korea. They’re a noticeably better ride than the stock tires. Smoother over bumps and the car feels more stable around curves on the highway, etc. Haven’t gotten any snow since I put them on but they feel confident in rain. Also, they don’t lose grip or spin on ‘spirited’ launches from a red light. The range hit has been pretty small. I averaged 13.0 kWh/100km after about 57 thousand km on the stock tires and have been getting 13.9 since putting these on. Just wanted to offer some basic input on them! Haven’t tried them in snow yet but people seem pretty happy with winter performance on the 2s and I don’t expect these will be dramatically different. Highly recommended. Read more”

“I have no idea about Nokian, but as someone that was agains all seasons for so long, I highly recommend the CrossClimate 3 Sports. Got them fitted since October last year on a BMW G26 and they’ve been amazing through everything: rain, snow, dry, cold and warm weather. They are very comfortable, but not too far away in feel from my previous Pilot Sports 4 and on a daily driver you wouldn’t think you are driving on AllSeasons if you didn’t know it before.”

“Recently purchased crossclimate 3 sport on my bmw f30 330e rears. They dont make as yet 225/45/18s. Amazing grip in the snow and wet. Ice formed on the roads last night. They slipped but not much but i did try to slip them on purpose. Normal driving no problems. Michelin need to make my size for fronts.”

“I use Primacy 5 as summer and have tried CC3 as winter (installed in october 2025 and removed in april 2026). I live in northern Italy and have been driving on highways, country roads and city roads, both in dry, rainy and snow conditions, and in Alps last december with ice/snow. The difference in terms of noise and comfort is noticeable (in favor to P5), but CC3 in this matter are way better than average winter tires.”

“Just put the Michelin Cross Climate 3 Sport on my new Alpine A290 GTS in 225/40/19 size, so far they’re great, very smooth and quiet. The steering seems even lighter now which I appreciate. With the amount of rain we’ve been having in the UK I’m feeling fully confident in the car and it drives just as well as the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S that were on it.”

“The CC3 Sport, all the way. I had Dunlop SP MAXX 2, Pirelli. I had separate winter, summer tyres, the winter were 17, summer 18. Now I use on my 18' the CC3 Sport, is the best tyre I ever had. It's my first Michelin, and I will never use anything else. It's responsive, very comfy, silent, the rolling resistance is stellar.”
