Sentury Touring review

“After reading this thread, I just got 4 sets of sentury touring for my Kia Optima 2012! So far very happy with them. My old Firestone tires were pretty worn out and I am not planning on keeping my Kia more than a year. So didn't want to spend too much on tires. The Senturys are running smooth with good grip and control. They don't look as sturdy as high end tires, but better than other cheap options in my opinion. I will be happy if they last more than 20k for the price I paid. The discount tire people I can tell weren't too excited to sell the sentury. They were trying to sell expensive ones to me,,, but oh well...”

“I have an 08 Corolla CE and I’m looking to get new tires. I’ve had the Sentury Touring for about 5 years only 1 flat ever and DT patched it up. I definitely could’ve rotated them more, but after looking around I think I’ll stick to them again. Very reliable tires for the price.”

“I’ve had experience with the sentury touring tires on my 03 Camry. They’re good tires and handled essentially anything i put it through. They’re cheap enough to be replaceable if something did happen but good quality for a daily driver. I thought the tread of the tires looks pretty good. Here in SoCal, when it rains and all that, tires took it like it was nothing whether it was slightly flooded on the freeways. Rain or shine, it handled the road well I haven’t heard of the other set of tires available however. Hope that helps!”

“Cheap tires v. Name brand I just ordered some Sentury Touring tires for my 2005 Honda Civic. This is my 3rd set of tires, but I’ve only bought Michelin tires in the past. I live between Northern Colorado and the Phoenix area. I am disappointed with my last set of Michelins as they are rotting pretty bad after 2 years, I still have plenty of thread left, but they are rotted as seen in my last post here. Am I making a mistake going with the Sentury Touring all season tires? I do drive in snow and ice and commute 60 miles each way to work. My car doesn’t have ABS or traction control. Honestly it’s all I can really afford a right now, hell I can’t even afford these, but I’ve gotta get new tires. I’ve had a blowout on the interstate before, and I was lucky to make it out unharmed. Should I just splurge and go with a more well know brand? Has anyone had any bad experiences with Sentury Touring tires here? Leer más”
