“3 years with Yokohama BluEarth GT AE51, underrated tyre Got BluEarth GT AE51 during Aug 2022, and liking them so far. They were a replacement for Yokohama Earth-1s, which had also served me well. Pros : Soft ride Less noise VFM , same price as Earth -1. 2 ply side wall. improved FE Grippy and confidence inspiring even in rains. Cons : Softer compound, so may not last too much compared to a hard compound tyre. Dealers may not be interested in pushing it compared to E1, for some strange reason. Tread pattern appears non-aggressive, compared to say, the Yoko S drive. Purely aesthetic only. Not a popular tyre, akin to spotting a unicorn. Directional tyres, need to pay attention if mounting/dismounting for whatever reason. Given a choice, I would definitely buy them again any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I have taken them on terrible jaggedy roads and continue to do so every day thanks to bad stretches roads in my city. Pic is representative only, got it from the internet. “Currently using Bluearth GT AE51. First thing I've noticed ay ang tahimik niya compared to my previous tires na Advan Fleva. Sobrang smooth. Choice ko talaga ay mag Advan Fleva nalang sana ulit since it's cheaper kaso out of stock and badly needed new tires so I settled dun sa Bluearth na available. I do have an issue with the Bluearth tires tho muka siyang flat kahit tama naman yung hangin. Based on my research, marami rami din akong nabasa online na ganun din ang issue so I've learned to live with it nalang. Been very busy kase although pag may time ibabalik ko sa shop since may 5 year warranty naman (baka mamaya oblong na pala talaga).”

“For civic’s sporty feel, go for BlueEarth GT AE51 Es32 is an economy tire, If it had been a corrolla, would have recommended AdvanDb V553s, as the company OEM tyre is Advan A-460. But AdvanDbs are soft tyres which wear out faster and don’t have the strength to absorb rough roads. Plus on a Civic which is slightly sporty, AdvanDbs will make the ride cushiony because of soft tyres. This will make the ride feel pillowy and not grounded like BlueEarth GT which is Grand Touring tyre which has a stiffer Sidewall which makes for sporty feel. Ask AI for Clarification”

“Mazda 3 2019 hatchback tire recommendations Car: Mazda 3 2019 model hatchback Current tyres: Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51 I’ve had my car since 2019 and have done 80,000km on these tires. My mechanic told me I have about 2–3,000km left before they are no longer roadworthy by my state’s standards. I’ve had the same tyres the entire time and I’m really happy with how long they’ve lasted. I’ve always felt they could handle heavy rain better. My tyre guy can supply and install the same tyres for $750AUD. Happy to spend up to $900. I’m mainly looking for good longevity, decent cabin noise and good wet weather performance. I mostly do highway driving with suburban use, once a week on rural/country roads. My area gets pretty heavy rain but no other weather conditions. Essentially, I’m looking for a good all round summer tyre rather than a dedicated performance tyre. Before I purchase them again, are there any other tyres you guys would recommend? Read more”

“Have these tyres been fitted correctly (Yokohama blu earth gt ae51) Hi guys, I got these tyres fitted yesterday and have just noticed that the tread pattern looks abit different due to it probably being fitted incorrectly. For reference the first picture is the drivers side and second slide is the passenger side.”
