BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S PLUS review

“BFG G-Force Comp-2 A/S Plus update I put BFG's brand new UHP all-season tires on my car several hundred miles ago, and thought I'd give an update on my thoughts. --TL:DR, I bought 245/40s, Lots of wet grip, some noise, possibly worse mpg.-- They grip reasonably well in the dry, excellent for an all-season tire. In the wet they are exceptional. If they do lose traction in a hard corner they are very predictable and allow you to slide confidently. I can hit a hard 1-2 shift on a damp road without making the traction control mad. My car is stock, performance-wise so take that for what you will. They are considerably quieter than the Sumitomo summer tires I took off the car, but not as quiet as Bridgestone all-seasons I've had before. Most of the noise is a low growl on rough surfaces. My gas milage is averaging a little bit lower since I changed tires, 1 or 2 on average. Because the change is relatively small, this could be due to a combination of factors. My guess is it is a mix of going up to a 245 section, driving somewhat more aggressively to feel out the tire performance, and maybe gas (not sure if the SE really gets winter gas). They fit the the staggered g70 sport set up. 4 brand new tires and one with minor sidewall damage, not effecting they ability to hold air. $1000 worth of tires, willing to part with them for $600 or best offer.”

“Continentals ExtremeContact Sport02 Or BFGOODRICH G-FORCE COMP-2 A/S PLUS? Hello, I’m looking to get new tires for my 2002 Firebird Trans am, the stock tire numbers are 275/40/17. I’ve done some research on my own and found these two are both good sets, but I seen redditors and reviewers rate the Continentals higher, but on tire buying sites the BFGs are rated higher. I will be driving mainly in spring summer and fall, put away in winter. No track or racing, or anything special. So what do you guys suggest? Feel free to throw out other recommendations instead of the two I listed, I also live in Michigan if it matters. Read more”
