“The Bridgestone Turanza T005 UHP Summer tires suck My BMW i4 e40 has 8k miles on it. I usually never get flats, but in the past 8 months I have almost been stranded 3 times by flats, and I have had to replace two of tires because they were completely worn. These Bridgestone Turanza T005 UHP Summer tires are terrible. I've been replacing the worn tires with run-flats, but probably time to move to a different brand and all-season tire.”

“I drove my friend’s Leon Cupra fitted with these Turanza T005 18” last summer to Croatia. Rountrip plus some local driving, all in all 2k km, the tyres were totally okay driving on highways and local roads. Not noisy. Good tyres for sure.”

“Stick with the Turanza T005 or go for something else? Ok you great folks have told me that despite lack of wear in depth after 30k miles and some cracks appearing I need to change a set of 2 tyres on the rear. I currently have Turanza T005s on the front and back with the fronts having been changed last July and with a great amount of tread left. The simple solution is to put some more T005s on the back but I started wondering if I should get some other tyres? I mainly do long journeys of 50+ miles and drive in a variety of conditions mostly in UK but will always drive to the alps and southern France in the summer where temps can be zero to 35c. I am also driving considering driving to the alps in the spring too where there might be wintry conditions. I am temped by all season tyres BUT at first they will only be on the rear and they will need ot be able to withstand scorching summer temps in south of France. I'd say my priority is fuel economy but don't want to compromise on safety either. I am not a spirited driver! I guess 30k miles out of the Bridgeys isn't too bad but just want to know if there is something better in the mid-premium range as they aren't cheap! BTW this is for a 2014 Skoda Fabia 1.6 TDI 105bhp so nothing sporty. Read more”

“I have a ford Fiesta with the Turanza T005s. I bought them in October last year for around 80 a corner and will probably replace them with the same when needed. I drive motorways mostly and have used them in some terrible rain and they are fantastic in the wet. Obviously not winter tyres but till fantastic. They give me much more confidence to drive spritely which is great.”
