“Tr1s are great for sliding and are very progressive at the limit but they have very sloppy sidewalls and do not have a lot of grip, it's very easy to lock up and can easily make you do a 4 wheel slide. Even the ancient PS3s have way more grip.”

Ich habe vor ein paar Jahren einen gebrauchten Felgensatz gekauft auf dem Reifen aus dem Jahr 2016 waren Profiltiefe der Reifen war bei allen neuwertig. Anfang diesen Jahres habe ich mir dann hinten links einen Platten gefahren. Ich habe dann die Reifen hinten achsweise getauscht mit dem selben Reifen was verbaut war (neue toyo proxes tr1 Reifen. Unglücklicherweise habe ich jetzt wieder einen platten Reifen, allerdings vorne. Nun wollte ich wieder 2 neue Reifen für vorne bestellen (ebenfalls toyo proxes tr1). Leider läuft dieses Modell wohl aus und sind nicht mehr verfügbar. Meine Frage jetzt, kann ich andere Reifen Modelle nutzen (toyo comfort in den selben Maßen wie den Proxes tr1) oder sind diese problematisch? Vielen Dank im Voraus 🙂 Read more”

“Suggestiona on tyres Hi everyone, Just wanted to ask if you guys ever had Yokohama Advan Fleva V701. My FK2 has nearly 400bhp and I’m not using it daily anymore as I want it to preserve the baby. My drive is a bit aggressive occasionally but nothing crazy or track day as I don’t have the time. I would like to know if you guys ever had this specific type of tyre. What you think about? They’re actually good? I wouldn’t like to buy again the Michelin pilot sport 4s which I found absolutely rubbish. I found those yoko for the decent price of 98£ each. So I buy it or should I move to Pirelli PZero pZ4 sport ?”

Weather is usually sunny, but sometimes it rains. Are them still a safe and a good choice, or are there some other brands that should result better for my driving style (and for my 215/45 r18 rims)? “Yokohama advan fleva v701? Currently looking at stock sizes for my 99 MRS and the v701s are the only decent set I can find. I live in Canada and I was planning on ordering them for next week, and just thought to do one more validation check before driving out to Bellingham. Pretty new to picking out my own tires, trying to also stay within 550-600usd or maxish 800-850cad including tax if possible.”
